Using outwrite.ai

    Results and reporting

Read AI visibility, add prompts and share useful reports.

Results shows how your business appears in sampled AI answers and, when connected, organic Google Search. It updates through scheduled monitoring, so you don't need to maintain a prompt list to get started.

    Read the AI answers

    SignalWhat it means
RecommendedThe answer presents the business as an option or recommendation
MentionedThe business is named in the actual answer text
CitedThe answer links to a page on the business's domain as a source

A citation doesn't necessarily recommend the business, and a mention doesn't always include a link. Open an answer in What buyers are seeing to inspect its wording, sources, prompt, platform and observation date.

These are sampled answers to buyer prompts, not access to people's private chat histories. Pending or unavailable answers are different from a completed answer that doesn't mention your brand. A platform logo alone doesn't mean a check finished.

    What gets tracked automatically

The baseline keeps relevant buyer prompts consistent for comparison. Monitoring normally refreshes it approximately weekly across supported ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode surfaces.

Research can introduce qualified new prompts without replacing the stable baseline. The measured prompts are not the full list of subjects outwrite.ai can write about, and every run doesn't necessarily add a new prompt.

Compare matching prompts, market, language and platform. Check the sample size and dates before interpreting a percentage. A changed sample isn't automatically an improvement or decline.

    Add your own prompts

Choose Add prompts in Results to enter wording, paste a list or import a CSV. Use a prompt/question column or put the wording in the first column.

Write what a buyer might ask, such as “Which appointment-setting agencies work with B2B software companies?” Category choices, relevant alternatives and meaningful constraints are useful. Avoid prompts designed only to force your brand name into an answer.

    • Use plain text, 5–700 characters, without search operators such as site: or inurl:.
    • Repeated wording is deduplicated. Up to 100 user prompts can be active, with up to 1,000 stored in the library.
    • Extra prompts are saved inactive for later. Active prompts rotate through scheduled checks; priority influences selection.
    • Adding a large list doesn't immediately check every prompt against every platform. A next-check date indicates eligibility, not a guaranteed completion time.

Deactivate a prompt to stop future checks while preserving its history. A check already sent may still finish. Reactivating makes it eligible again under your current work controls and account access.

Your prompts sit alongside automatic monitoring; they don't replace it or automatically become article ideas. If your market changes, review the prompts you want checked for that audience. Earlier observations keep their original context.

    Organic search

Connect Google Search Console to see clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, queries and pages. The same data helps research understand existing coverage and investigate new opportunities.

Organic search figures are separate from AI mentions and are not a measure of AI referral traffic. Read the sync date and imported period when reviewing them.

    Reports and exports

Open Results → Reports & history. Filter by date, platform, prompt source and wording, then inspect the full answer evidence or export a report.

    FormatUse it for
    PDFA readable stakeholder report
CSVFiltering and analysis in another tool
    ExcelA structured workbook

Reports use saved observations; exporting doesn't start a new scan. Keep dates, market, prompt wording and sample size with the numbers.

A saved report preserves its snapshot rather than changing with future measurements. Optional share links expire after 30 days and can be revoked. Share them only with people who should see that report.

    Your weekly review

    1. Check Plan for completed work, upcoming articles and anything needing attention.
    2. Compare matched prompts and open the answers behind changed mentions or citations.
    3. Review organic search separately, especially relevant non-branded queries and pages.
    4. Check how the next articles address the gaps. Give topic feedback if the direction doesn't fit.

Look for repeated evidence rather than reacting to one answer. An increase after publication doesn't prove one article caused it, and missing data is unknown rather than zero. outwrite.ai uses useful evidence to inform future priorities without promising a ranking or citation.
